PETROL PRICES ROCKET YET AGAIN.

PETROL PRICES ROCKET AGAIN

FUEL PRICES ROCKET AGAIN

PETROL PRICES ROCKET YET AGAIN.

PETROL PRICES ROCKET YET AGAIN.
Petrol prices are yet again set to rocket to bring further misery to families and business’s trying to keep afloat during this awful Winter when heating is running at either full blast or the growing numbers of hard pressed poor families who may be huddled round the extortionate  priced single bar electric fire trying to keep from getting hypothermia. I ask you, are those who set fuel prices living on the same planet?
If you have a little look at the fuel prices set around the World it makes you wonder why we live the way we do in our supposedly modern and cosmopolitan country. It does not take a genius to work out that other forces etc…are playing their part on World fuel prices but how far can we really go? have we in the U.K. not been bled enough? Do our fuel prices really need to be so high against for example the U.S. Why in a country like the U.S. who have gas guzzlers that slurp around 5 miles to the gallon which are owned by about a third of the population in America can they buy their petrol/gas for a fraction of what we pay in the U.K. It’s not as if we have far to go for oil!
Take a look at some of these;
Venezuela – around 8 pence per  litre (.36 pence a gallon)
Egypt – around 9 pence per litre (.41 pence a gallon)
Saudi Arabia – around 10 pence per litre (.45 pence a gallon)
Qatar – around 12 pence per litre (.54 pence a gallon)
Bahrain – around 15 pence per litre (.68 pence a gallon)
Libya – around 15 pence per litre (.68 pence a gallon)
Algeria – around 17 pence per litre (.77 pence a gallon)
UNITED KINGDOM – AROUND £1-39 PENCE PER LITRE (£6-26 PENCE A GALLON)
UNITED STATES – AROUND .45 PENCE PER LITRE ( £2-03 PENCE PER GALLON)

It’s little wonder that the U.K. is known outside the U.K. as “Treasure Island”.
