National Lottery Disaster.
Many said don’t do it, many said it would drive people away and after just a few weeks its been proven our UK National Lottery has less players and they are paying out more in little prizes than in jackpots which is just the opposite of the desired aims.
National lottery has been paying out 3 times more money in little prizes than before and less in the bigger prizes, fact.
Like all things in rip-off Britain greed got in the way of sense, it now turns out the only ones who can afford it is middle and upper Britain just another way of keeping the little people of our once proud country down where the rich want us.
National Lottery promised bigger jackpots yet we are getting either the same or slightly less that before proves its a price rise (100% increase) just to far.
WHATS GOING ON AT THE LOCAL RAG?
Aberdeen has lots and lots of charities, inchgath community centre is not one of them!
Aberdeen has thousands of charity volunteers the non-charity inchgarth has but a handful!
Aberdeen Charities relies on donations to survive inchgarth does not as they charge users to use the council owned facilities where they have zero overheads as the council picks up virtually all the centres costs.
How is it then inchgarth gets more of a mention in our local rag then all the other charities put together, whats so special about their plights that takes president over charities that employ hundreds of people and provide the community with so much more than providing the inchgarth manager with a huge pay packet.
The latest grab for cash is for a low cost gym yet no mention of how it will be staffed or what safety procedures will be in place yet the local rag thinks this is worthy of a Saturday news slot has the local rag gone nuts this is a non-story, the local rag should be concentrating on real charities not on centres that profits from others donations when its not even a charity in the first place!
If this continues our local rag will perhaps change its CURRENT name to the Polly Wally Gazette!
NUMBER OF PEOPLE RELYING ON FOODBANKS TRIPLED
Commenting on the news that the number of people relying on food banks to survive in the UK has tripled over the last year, with more than 23,000 Scots – including 7000 children – receiving emergency aid from a Trussell Trust food bank, SNP MP Dr Eilidh Whiteford said:
“These figures produced today by the Trussell Trust, which runs 400 food banks across the UK, are alarming. The Trust have said a third of those being helped were children, and the problem was so severe that some people using food banks have started to hand back items that need cooking, as they cannot afford to use the energy.
“The Red Cross announced last week it would be helping with food aid in the UK for the first time since the Second World War.
“The UK government needs to wake up to this cost of living crisis and stop shunning responsibility. Conservative minister Lord Freud provoked outrage in July when he questioned whether there were “causal connections” between the rise of food banks and government austerity policies. In September Education Secretary Michael Gove was accused of being “out of touch” when he appeared to suggest that families using food banks were responsible for their own predicament.
“While the UK government continues down this road, making the poor poorer, and the anti-independence No campaign tries to tell the people of Scotland that this is as good as it gets, more than ever it is clear that only a Yes vote next September can make Scotland a fairer country to live, work and raise a family.”
INCHGARTH SINKS TO NEW LOWS.
Readers to this blog will have noticed that inchgarth and oh happy days aka Polly the Wally has refrained from openly debating their problems on this site over the last six months due to the fact they have discovered hurtling abusive comments and attacking disabled people is counter productive and harming their reputation even further.
The management committee is so worried about this website they have sunk to new lows by trying to divert web traffic away from this website and onto their own by using INTERNATIONAL SCOTLAND as one of their inchgarth.org websites keywords as shown below.
Perhaps inchgarth has reconsidered its position and has started to trust the word of InternationalScotland.com how else can one explain this apparent keyword theft?
