Derek McInnes Must Go

Derek McInnes Must Go.

Derek McInnes Must Go, he said no to Sunderland and got a better deal, is he waiting to turn down Rangers for an even better deal to stay at Aberdeen?

Derek McInnes Must Go and the sooner the better, the players are struggling with will he won’t he mentality and just before the Rangers manager got sacked the Aberdeen manager was busy signing up the players with add-on contracts yet won’t commit to the club himself shows hes perhaps a greedy not to be trusted manager and makes the case for himself that he must go!

The Must Go case makes the Aberdeen board look really silly now in their attempts to move to kingswells must now be in serious doubt as they built their entire case on giving Derek McInnes the tools to succeed, well if he goes whats the point of the move at all?

Derek McInnes Must Go because deep down he really wants the rangers job, if that’s not true he should just come out and say so after all he is contracted to Aberdeen for another 3 years and the Aberdeen board should say hes not for sale at any cost but won’t which means, Derek McInnes Must Go!

More on the stupid move away from the current home of the dons here.

Mark McDonald, MSP Resigns

Mark McDonald, MSP  Resigns

Mark McDonald, MSP Resigns for Aberdeen Donside, said he was stepping down from his role as childcare and early years minister.

He apologised and said his attempts to be “humourous” or “friendly” may have led others to become uncomfortable.

He is one of two SNP members currently being investigated by the party over possible misconduct.

It is understood the allegations against him are not criminal in nature. The other complaint being investigated by the SNP does not relate to a parliamentarian.

In a statement he said: “It has been brought to my attention that some of my previous actions have been considered to be inappropriate – where I have believed myself to have been merely humorous or attempting to be friendly, my behavior might have made others uncomfortable or led them to question my intentions.

“My behavior is entirely my responsibility and I apologise unreservedly to anyone I have upset or who might have found my behavior inappropriate.

“In light of my position in government, I believe it would not be appropriate for me to continue to serve in my role in the Scottish government at this time and I have tendered my resignation as a minister.

“I hope that in taking this step neither any particular woman or my family will be the focus of undue and unwarranted scrutiny.

“It has been an honor to serve in the Scottish government and I will continue to serve my constituents in Aberdeen Donside to the best of my ability.”

Well that’s what he has said but last week he refused to meet one of his constituents who had on-going problems with Aberdeen Social Work claiming he could not meet with them because of his role a Children’s minister.

We understand he also refused to meet the local charity Dadscare who wished to ask him why he refused to meet with them over their FOI request that stated that less than 1% of the 809 members of the public complaints into social services were upheld and 21% of employer complaints were also upheld showing the SSSC as not being fit for purpose of which he has responsibility!
