INTEL NUC 144Hz REFRESH RATE.
INTEL NUC BOXNUC8i5BEH3, i3 AND i7 CAN RUN AT 144Hz REFRESH RATE NO PROBLEM AT ALL AT 1080P.
I can confirm the intel Next Unit of Computing can run at 60, 100, 120 144 and on another monitor at 165Hz referesh rates no bother all.
It seems the internet is awash with end-users and forums claiming it could not support such high bandwidth demands.
These values were all tested on all versions of the now discontinued NUC8’s which is a great shame as the i5 on various bench tests like userbench here is a capture taken of my nucs performance and proof it may be small but wow it packs a punch above its size and can beat almost all other 10th gen NUCs.
How many CPU’s can attain over 85% userbench scores, not many this is on par with a ryzen 5 4500 and beats the i7 8750 by about 3%.
Intel are terrible at promoting nucs and they are briliant they out perform every version of CPU if it was in a dell laptop and in a nuc the nuc would win by 10% everytime?
My own NUC8i5 was tested on the excellent £125 MSI OPTIX MAG241CP from AO outlet shop here.
This unit has already had the msi 3 year warranty and the extra three months warranty applied and granted so all in all a bargain 144Hz monitor wizkid for my Intel Nuc8i5, will it play 144 FPS in games very unlikely but if you play on a android emulator like Bluestacks 4 most likely everyday of the week!
Anyone that fancies trying 144Hz gaming on their NUC 6, 7, 8 or tenth gen CPU;s try these games first guys?
