Safe browser for kids.

Safe browser for kids.
Have you been frustrated by web browsers unfit for kids to use? I know I have and everybody over the last umteen years have been in the exact same boat. The existing mainstream browsers have settings which do not consider kids first.
So we can report at long last there is a browser you can download free and it’s designed for kids. The kidz browser can be set for various settings and has a secret key for the adult to use to keep the kidz from going into the wrong places.
As a responsible parent/ grandparent/childminder etc… you owe it to your children to keep them safe while websurfing as more and more unbelievable stories are crawling out of the internet.
You can download the free kids browser at;

Kaimhill versus Inchgarth

Kaimhill versus Inchgarth

Since the £90,000 debacle at Kaimhill we decided to have a little look at both Kaimhill versus Inchgarth.

While considering these centres we assume both have full and comprehensive Public Liability Insurance which we are led to believe wasn’t always the case.

Kaimhill – easy access and convenience to get there? – personal score 8 out of 10
Inchgarth – easy access and convenience to get there? – personal score 6 out of 10(too many bends in the road!)
Kaimhill – manager ability – personal score 9 out of 10(the manager is just too friendly, so loses a point!)
Inchgarth – manager ability – personal score,   -(minus)10 out of 10(the manager is untrained and seems to struggle with reality)
Kaimhill – cost of coffee – personal score 10 out of 10 (it’s free)
Inchgarth – cost of coffee – personal score, Dick Turpin prices = -(minus) 10 out of 10(coffee franchise – which is rather odd for a supposedly NOT FOR PROFIT organisation).
Kaimhill – friendliness of the local people – personal score 10 out of 10
Inchgarth – friendliness of the local people – personal score 10 out of 10
Kaimhill – unstable staff members = zero – 10 out of 10
Inchgarth – unstable staff members = 1 in particular who has Al Capone symptoms mixed with La-La el Mafiosa syndrome(a deadly disease of the rubber room brigade) – personal score -(minus)10 out of 10
Although this may be a tongue in cheek look at Kaimhill centre and Inchgarth centre it shows that one centre in particular needs to start updating their 2013/2014 ideas and plans.

SCOTTISH NATIONAL PARTY FORMED

“Scottish National Party” formed in April 20th and the year 1934. It was the amalgamation of two different organisations who obviously saw the benefits of joining sides for a common cause, those were the “Scottish Party”, and the “National Party of Scotland”.
The object of the party;

” SELF GOVERNMENT FOR SCOTLAND”

GAMES TO AVOID ON THE NET.

Games to avoid on the net is a growing problem as recent families with up to two thousand pound gaming bills can testify against.

Some of these so called free games hook you in, or hook your child in and before you know it the bill takes off and grows horns.
THE BIGGEST AVOIDANCE MUST BE GAMES WITH;; IN-APP PURCHASES, THESE SHOULD ALWAYS BE TURNED OFF – ESPECIALLY IN YOUR KIDS HARDWARE.

For years the toy makers usually just before Christmas delivered adverts where the toys looked massive or the toy looked as if it may be self propelled – these ads seem to get less and less. So it’s little surprise to watch the latest electronic games with shoot-em-up’s or animated dragons etc…being slain by knights with swords, the problem is in small writing it tells you the viewing you have just seen is not actual game footage, now what is that all about? – now it doesn’t take a genius to work out these ads are aimed at our youngsters.

This excellent advice from the BBC is worth doing on your different hardware devices simply for peace of mind and no shocking bills.

TRUMP CHALLENGING SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT – 12th April 2013

TRUMP CHALLENGING SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT – 12th April 2013
Well it has happened; Mr Donald Trump, 725 Fifth Avenue New York is taking the Scottish Government to court.
Let’s look at this seriously;
We have an American businessman who comes to Scotland to start a business, obviously he wants to make money and as Mr Trump will always want to make lots of money then his advisors will attempt to think ahead in all aspects.
They bought the Menie estate in Aberdeenshire around 2006 and during their buying stages they must have made land checks etc…for existing planning etc…they would have found that in 2002 the windfarm company had placed plans to supply eventually around 50,000 families. Let us not forget either that the original plans made by the Trump organisation were turned down around 2007/8.

So we have a company who placed their plans for a windfarm in 2002 and another company wishing to stop their plans in 2007 – how crazy is that?

Let us tell you now Mr Trump;
publicity is one thing, but in this case your likely to get your bottom skelpit. It would be a much better idea if you could accept the inevitable. It was such a shame to see your presentation to the Scottish windfarm committee where you made it obvious you are taking this personally and you have an axe to grind with the Scottish people.
In a recent interview you said you were continuing your action for the Scottish people – let’s get one thing straight - YOU DO NOT REPRESENT OR SPEAK FOR ME!!!

TRUMP’S APPEARANCE BEFORE SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT COMMITTEE

TRUMP’S APPEARANCE BEFORE SCOTTISH GOVERNMENT COMMITTEE

The full meeting shows arguments from both sides. It’s interesting how the Trump organisation are shown to blatantly lie about whether they actually knew about the Windfarm BEFORE they even bought the land area called the Menie estate.

The video also shows that the Windfarm plans had been placed in 2002 yet the Trump organisation bought the land four years, YES FOUR YEARS after this – did they not have a normal planning search made before purchase?

The Trump organisation took with them an odd band consisting of characters who obviously had other personal agenda’s and if anything made the argument for no windfarms worse as these personal agenda’s sort of got in the way of the argument for or against windfarms.

Make up your own mind whether you think Trump has the interest of Scotland forefront;

SNP COMMENT ON OSBORNE SPEECH

SNP COMMENT ON OSBORNE SPEECH
Commenting on George Osborne’s Welfare Reform speech, SNP Work and Pensions Spokesperson Dr Eilidh Whiteford MP said:
“The Chancellor’s speech today had the right-wing rhetoric, but George Osborne fails to grasp the realities of his welfare reform. Our poorest and most disadvantaged are bearing the brunt of the Tory/Lib Dem coalition’s austerity measures.
“As the Bedroom Tax comes into force, 105,000 households across Scotland will lose an average of £600 a year.  Working age benefits rises will be cut in real terms for the next three years, which will reduce the total income of Scottish households by around £210 million by 2014-15. Child benefit is frozen for the third year in a row, and Scotland’s council tax budget will be cut by 10% – a cut which the Scottish Government and Cosla are making good from their limited resources.
“We need a welfare system which reflects Scotland’s values, helps working families and protects our most disadvantaged people. A fairer welfare system for Scotland can only be achieved with a Yes vote in 2014. We need our welfare policies to be decided in the Scottish Parliament rather than Westminster, where our MPs have little ability to prevent such damaging measures.”
